Enjoy a complete 7 Days Cairo, White Desert, Bahariya Oasis, Marsa Matrouh and Siwa Tour through Egypt’s Western Desert and North Coast. This journey starts from Cairo Airport, continues to Bahariya Oasis and the White Desert for two nights of camping, then moves to Marsa Matrouh and Siwa Oasis before returning back to Cairo.
During this 7-day adventure, you will explore the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, Aqabat off-road area, Great Karaween sand dunes, Magic Spring Ain El Serw, Tents Valley, White Desert National Park, Marsa Matrouh beach, Shali Old Town, Mountain of the Dead, Amoun Temple, Oracle Temple, Fitnas Island, Salt Lake, Cleopatra Water Spring, and Bir Wahed.
This tour is perfect for travelers who want to combine White Desert camping, Marsa Matrouh beach, Siwa Oasis history, Great Sand Sea safari, desert landscapes, natural springs, sunset views, and a complete Western Desert route from Cairo.
After lunch, then you will start our tour to visit the Black Desert surrounding Bahariya Oasis, where the iron in the desert is one of the reasons for the black rocks. You will walk to explore Gabal El Marsos, Divided Mountain, and then drive off road towards the small Bedouin village El Hez, which is the beautiful place swimming in the water spring. There we have availability to swim in it, if you are interested the water is clean and fresh. After enjoying the spring continue our way to the way to White Desert area 160-km on/off road. After 55 KM will stop by the Crystal Mountain and we will start our off road tour there, enjoy the beautiful shining stone and small cave there. Then continue driving to El Mattar area which is our first camping night there. Camping under the beautiful and shining stars. Accommodation: Camping in desert
After incredible camping night with special sunrise in the beautiful desert, will driving to the Aqabat off road area and stop by the Hole Mountain. Then continue driving to the Great Karaween sand dunes, enjoy the driving through the sand dunes and also we have availability for the sand boarding adventure there. After the nice time by the dunes will driving on the way to the Magic Spring Ain El Serw. Our delicious picnic lunch will be there beside the water spring in the middle of no where. After lunch will keep continue driving on the way to White Desert. In our way to the White Desert will stop by the Big and Small Valleys and Henes Valley. Also will stop by Acacia Tree one from the oldest tree in the whole Western Desert. Then stop by Tents Valley for takes incredible photos. Then drive to the White Desert National Park. The park is the site of large white chalk rock formations, created through erosion by wind and sand. It is also the site of cliffs at the northern end of the Farafra Depressions. The park serves as the refuge for various animals, including the endangered Rhim gazelle and the vulnerable dorcas gazelle, as well as barbary sheep, red and fennec foxes. White Desert National Park covers an area of 3,010 km2, 1,160 sq mi. The altitude in the park varies from 32 to 353 m, 105 to 1,158 ft, above sea level. Then drive you with its chalk, cream landscape, and the wind carved mushroom-shaped formations that resemble both human and animal faces. Tonight we enjoy and watch the sunset over the exquisite sands of the desert. Today night will enjoy also the incredible clear sky, stars shining, and delicious BBQ dinner. Wake up from a peaceful and the beautiful night. Early you can enjoy the lovely sunrise, then breakfast. After you can enjoy the little hiking in between the beautiful tents rocks Valley in desert. Then return all over the road across the White Desert to Bahariya Oasis. On the way stop in the warm spring for the break and swimming if you are interested. Then back to our hotel in Bahariya Oasis rest then lunch. After lunch with our van driver you to Marsa Matrouh the way time to there around 7 hours. Arrived Marsa Matrouh late afternoon drive you directly to the one from the local restaurant dinner then go to the hotel. Accommodation: Hotel
Ready for Adventure!!! After breakfast drive you to the one of the beautiful and famous beach in Marsa Matrouh visit and enjoy the time. Then departure to Siwa Oasis, the largest 23,000 habitants and most remote Egyptian Oasis lying some 17m below sea level. Crossing the Western Desert arrive afternoon and overnight in hotel. After Breakfast start our tour with Shali Old Town. Some buildings here are still in use but due to their construction of salt, mud & plaster they fall into ruin year after year. Then following visiting the Mountain of the Dead Cemetery is the second most important monument that was discovered in Matrouh Governorate after the Temple of Revelation. It was discovered in 1944 during the Second World War. The mountain is located 2 km from Siwa Oasis. It is a conical mountain that contains thousands of tombs carved in the rock. It served as the main cemetery in Siwa Oasis during ancient times. Depending on the inscriptions and archaeological finds, the history of the cemetery is clear from the history of the oldest tombs in it, as the oldest burial date dates back to a cemetery from the era of the twenty-sixth dynasty, and burial continued in this cemetery until the late Roman era Byzantine. Then move to Amoun Temple Om Obayda dates back to the 30th dynasty, and the Oracle Temple where Alexander the Great consulted the oracle to validate his status as the son of Zeus and thus legitimate ruler of the country. Lunch and rest then end your day with a relaxing sunset scene in Fitnas Island lies 4 km to the west of Siwa, which is covered completely by palm trees, except for the circular, tiled pool. Then back to the hotel and overnight. Accommodation: Hotel
After Breakfast drive to the one from the famous and incredible place in Siwa it’s the salt lake. Enjoy the floating on the water looks like the Dead Sea in Jordan. Then drive back to Cleopatra Water Spring to wash and remove the salt out of your body. Also there it’s very nice coffee shop to have very delicious and fresh juice. After that it’s lunch time. Then spend today’s late afternoon at Bir Wahed set out 12 km southwest of Siwa. A hot spring and cold spring at the edge of Great Sand Sea with water right in the middle of the sand dunes and take amazing sunset from a top of sand dunes. Then move to the Bedouin restaurant for the attractive Bedouin dinner and back to the hotel. Accommodation: Hotel
