Pick-up from Your Hotel After breakfast, around 08:00 AM, your private Egyptologist guide and expert driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. You will start your first day exploring some of the most important ancient Egyptian sites near Cairo. Your guide will give you an introduction to the day’s program and explain the historical importance of the Giza Plateau, Saqqara, and Memphis before beginning the tour. Visit the Giza Pyramids Start your tour with a visit to the famous Giza Pyramids, one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. You will see the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will also visit the Pyramid of Chephren and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Your guide will explain how the pyramids were built, why they were constructed, and how they were connected to ancient Egyptian beliefs about kingship, death, and the afterlife.
